Served 21 years as a Special Agent and Supervisor, assigned to FBI Offices in Boston, Providence (RI), FBI Headquarters, Afghanistan, Baltimore, Washington DC, and Charlotte.
Supervisor of FBI Baltimore’s Violent Crime and Gang Task Forces in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Planned, led, and conducted arrests/apprehensions of several hundred armed & dangerous criminals.
Supervisor of the FBI Operational Technology Division, providing worldwide communication platforms in support of FBI investigations/missions.
Supervisor in FBIHQ Counterterrorism Division detailed to International Operations Division in support of FBI operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Supervisor in FBIHQ Cyber Division providing support to FBI field office investigations of cyber threats/actors emanating from outside the continental United States.
Served as the FBI’s Assistant Legal Attache’ at the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. Supervised and conducted numerous investigations which included the recovery of kidnapped U.S. persons, and attacks on Americans and American facilities; supervised the International Contract Corruption Task Force; and supervised the Major Crimes Task Force.
Case agent & Supervisor on numerous complex investigations involving violent gangs, drug trafficking, human trafficking, international terrorism, public corruption, violent crimes, and crimes against children.
Conducted numerous protection details, both domestic and internationally, for FBI Directors and US Attorneys General.
Served four deployments to Afghanistan in support of the Global War on Terror. Assisted the United States military and other agencies in the pursuit and apprehension of Al Qaeda & Taliban terrorists.
Instructor for FBI Overseas Pre-Deployment training.
Received numerous awards and commendations for both Domestic and Overseas service, not only from the FBI, but other agencies.
Completed detailed course of study and earned SANS GIAC certification (a cybersecurity certification).
Prior to joining the FBI, served as a Space Shuttle Engineer at NASA Johnson Space Center. Responsible for engineering, flight design, and real-time analysis during launch, in orbit operations, and descent during Shuttle missions.
Graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical & Astronautical Engineering.
