Served over 15 years as Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge supervising criminal cases including program fraud, embezzlement, bribery, money laundering, public corruption, organized crime, threats, sensitive internal affairs investigations, workplace violence, and investigations with Congressional interest.
Directed and supervised numerous undercover operations.
Protective Operations - Conducted advance work and provided executive protection for the Secretary of Agriculture and other dignitaries to include coordination and mission planning, site surveys, and protective service motorcade operations.
Conducted personnel and physical security threat assessments of numerous USDA facilities in support of USDA’s Workplace Violence/Active Shooter Response Initiative.
Case manager and team lead for a major fugitive task force operation (Operation Talon) for the Atlanta Regional Office receiving Al Gore’s Vice-Presidential Hammer Award and OIG’s Award of Excellence.
Member of the Greensboro (North Carolina) Police Department’s Violent Criminal Apprehension Team.
Federal Firearms Instructor for over 23 years. Designated as a Distinguished Weapons Expert throughout federal law enforcement career.
Technical Operations Officer for the Southeast Region managing and instructing on technical surveillance equipment for all sensitive operations.
Weapons of Mass Destruction/Bioterrorism Response Coordinator for the Southeast Region and Emergency Response Team (ERT) Member.
Former Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT).
Prior to joining USDA-OIG, served as a headquarters and international field agent with the US Agency for International Development in Washington, DC.
